Your Fit Experience at Gerk's When you schedule a fit at Gerk’s you are committing to the most advanced bike fit available outside of a clinical setting. We genuinely care about your needs as a cyclist and because bike fitting requires an in-depth understanding of your unique physical characteristics, we begin every bike fit with a detailed pre-fit assessment. During this evaluation we discuss your goals, injury history, and expectations to ensure that we approach your fit experience correctly. We will also use flexibility and strength assessments to gather the information we need and determine what positions on the bike are possible and appropriate for you. During your fit it may be necessary to replace certain components or equipment to achieve optimal results. A fit is also the perfect time to replace worn items like cleats and pedals, or upgrade to a higher end component like a carbon bar. A typical BG Fit session will be 1.5 to 2 hours so please schedule accordingly. Gerk's BG Fit services are available at both our Redmond and Issaquah locations. You may give us a call at 425-883-7544 to schedule your fit at our Redmond location, or call 425-270-3061 to schedule a fit at our Issaquah location. What To Bring to your fit Come to your fit with all your equipment including a clean riding outfit, shoes, and helmet if you plan on riding outside after the fit. If you tend to sweat a lot please bring a towel as you will be riding at varying levels of intensity during the fit. Because it may take some time for your body to adjust to a new position on the bike it is also a good idea to schedule a fit well in advance of any events or heavy training periods you have coming up. |
